Manage tasks in your CRM system
Find your tasks and reminders in one place, and complete them with just a few clicks.
Do you have trouble managing tasks in different systems?
We all have several tasks to do in our workday! Many of them are recurrent but others are new or unusual, which makes us run the risk of forgetting or not having enough time to do them.
Many online calendar tools are available to help employees manage tasks. However, the use of multiple tools or software can also be confusing and result in delays.
The idea and to have a system where everything can be found and realized easily. A system where both tasks and reminders are together, needing only a few clicks to be done.
How Tasks Management work?
SugarCRM has a module used to track tasks or actions items that can be associated to many Sugar records to which the tasks are important.
Task Management module syncs your existing tasks effortlessly into your SugarCRM and link tasks to Contacts, Accounts, Projects, Cases etc. External data can be imported to the CRM, using the import wizard to create or update tasks.
Due date tasks have a specific color coding which alerts users about the deadlines on list views and dashlets. Tasks that are delayed or have a short due date are highlighted for users:
Red color means: Tasks with any status other than “Completed” with a due date that has passed.
Blue color means: Tasks with any status other than “Completed” with a due date in the next 24 hours.
No color means: Tasks with a status of “Completed” or with a due date 24 hours or more in the future.
Tasks are also displayed on your calendar, which helps in your daily planning and execution of tasks. If you create a task for someone else, it will appear on his/her calendar as well.
The Dashlets that show task records can be added in your personalized Home page, which will make the visualization easier when you start your CRM system. They can also be added to list view intelligence panes, and record view intelligence panes. The List View dashlet is a simple dashlet that allows you to select the Tasks module and define a filter so that the dashlet displays tasks that meet your filter criteria.
Once you’ve completed one task, you can close it by different ways (you choose the easiest one for you, depending on which module you are accessing) but all in the SugarCRM.
